The decision to integrate polls is subjective. You could experiment with a monthly poll or tie it to special posts to test resonance.
Embedding polls in Substack is pretty straightforward: Select the ‘More’ Menu on the main formatting bar and Choose ‘Poll.’
Hover on the embedded element to select the ‘Edit’ button.
Enter the question and the choices. You can add multiple poll questions by repeating the steps above.
Pro-tip: Once you publish a post with a poll, avoid editing it to prevent losing your responses—a bug in Substack. For instance, if you change the length of time for polling after the initial setup, Substack treats it like a new poll.
